Getting started

  1. Create your account
    If you are new to Orange Health, you will have to create an account first. Enter Orange Health and click on ‘Sign Up’.

     

  2. Verification step
    Enter your NRIC/FIN and Date of Birth (manual key in of dd/mm/yyyy), then click on Verify for us to check whether you’re insured with IncomeShield.

     

  3. Your personal details
    Enter your personal details (all fields are mandatory).

    To complete the sign up process, you will be required to key in an OTP sent to your registered mobile number after filling up the fields. If you are referred by your friend, be sure to check that the invitation code is entered into the field during sign-up. This will ensure that both you and your friend receive 100 bonus Oh! points each.

     

  4. Enable notifications
    Allow push notifications on Income Insurance app to get Orange Health updates on Challenges, the latest happenings and more! Push notifications will be automatically enabled for Android users. For iPhone users, you’ll see the below pop-up. Click ‘Allow’ to get Orange Health updates on Challenges, the latest happenings and more!

Refer your friend to Orange Health and both of you will receive 100 bonus Oh! points each. Navigate to Settings > Refer a Friend, and choose how you wish to share the referral message (via Whatsapp, SMS, email, etc.).

  1. Pairing your tracking device
    After you’ve successfully signed up, you’ll be prompted to pair a tracking device. You can choose only one of the available tracking device options.

    For Android users, you can choose between Samsung Health, Fitbit and Garmin. For iPhone users, you can choose between Apple Health, Garmin and Fitbit.

     

    If you wish to register or change your tracking device, navigate to Settings > Register New Device.

     

    For users paired to Apple Health or Samsung Health, you will need to register your tracking device again if you sign out of your account, by going to Settings > Register New Device.

     

  2. Pairing your tracking device
    If your health data is still not syncing, you may try the following steps:

  3. Your app data
    Ensure your app data is up to date by pulling down on the Home screen to refresh your data.

    In order to earn Oh! points, you will need to enter Orange Health at least once every 7 days to sync your sleep and steps data.

    Once the sleep data is synced to Orange Health, you will not be able to amend it. Do note that you will get 5 Oh! points for a minimum of 7 hours of sleep each day. For users synced to Garmin, the points will only be given the following day.

    Here is a breakdown of the number of Oh! points you can earn each day for steps

    If there appears to be a discrepancy in your tracking data, don’t panic! Go to your selected tracking app (i.e. Apple Health, Samsung Health, Garmin or Fitbit) and ensure that your latest data has synced there. Then go back to Orange Health and pull down on the Home screen to refresh.

If you are using Fitbit or Garmin, you will need to wear the device to sleep, and the sleep data will automatically be synced. No additional efforts on your end.

If you are using Apple Health, you will need to use Bedtime in the Clock app to track your sleep. You will be guided through the initial setup by setting what time you want to go to bed and to wake up. If you have already setup Bedtime, do remember to turn it on to ensure proper tracking. Reviewing your progress

View a breakdown of your activities by clicking into each image from the Home screen. You can also scroll left to earlier dates to see your progress.

 

View a breakdown of your points by clicking the orange arrow on the Home screen.
Then click into each category of steps, sleep hours, etc to find the number of points awarded for each applicable day.

 

There are two seasons in a year. Season A which is from 1st January to 30th June, and Season B which is from 1st July to 31stDecember.

Oh! points accumulated in the last 2 months of each season (A & B) can be carried over to the next season. The remaining points accumulated in the first 4 months of the season, if unutilised will expire. For example, points accumulated in May and June may be carried over to Season B. Similarly, Oh! points accumulated in November and December, may be carried over to the upcoming Season A.

Oh! points that are not redeemed will expire after the season is over. You may click into the category ‘Expired’ to find the number of points that are expired for the previous season.

View messages from us by clicking the bell icon on the top right corner of your screen.

If there’s a red button at your bell icon, it means you have unread messages. Check them out!

Additional features

  1. Click on ‘Challenge’ in the menu bar at the bottom of your screen to check out available challenges.

     

  2. View the latest challenges by clicking on ‘New’ at the top of your screen.
    You can choose to filter by selecting the relevant tabs to view Individual and Group challenges only.

     

  3. You can view the challenges you’ve joined under ‘My Challenges’.

  4. See who has invited you to join an Orange Health challenge when you click on ‘Invitation’.
    The invitations will also appear in your notifications.

    Add friends to a group challenge when you create a group! You can add friends who are already on Orange Health.

    To join group challenges, you need to enter into the challenge details page. Click on Create Group and you can (a) Name your group and (b) Select a picture to represent your group icon (optional).


    Thereafter you can choose to Add Friends. Search for your friends’ full name with at least 3 letters and a list of people with the name consisting of these 3 letters would appear. Once you have identified your friend, select ‘Add Friend’. You’ll see ‘Request Sent’ once the request is sent.
    After your friend has accepted your request, click on Invite Friend to invite them to the challenge. Click on Send Invites to invite one or more friends. For a group challenge of two people, the first friend who joins the challenge will complete the group. You cannot change group members thereafter.

    To check on Oh! points earned from Challenges, you can click the orange arrow on the Home screen. Then click into the ‘Challenge’ category to find the number of points awarded for each challenge.

View your friends by going into Settings > Friends > All Friends tab 

Add a friend by clicking the ‘+’ icon at the top right corner of your screen, search by Display Name (you will need to type in at least 3 letters) and you’re ready to add!

Navigate to ‘Groceries’ from 'Earn Points' on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen.

Enter the ‘Order number’ and ‘Delivery date’ found on your FairPrice Online delivery confirmation and tap on ‘Submit’.

 

You can only submit your grocery order within 7 days after delivery.

 

You will receive a notification within 10 days of submission after your order has been verified.

 

30 Oh! points will be credited to you upon confirmation. You can view your points by clicking the orange arrow on the Home screen. Navigate to ‘Healthy Meals’ to see the credited points.

 

Do note that you can only submit 1 grocery order per calendar week (Monday to Sunday).

Check in to a location by clicking on the ‘Earn Points’ icon on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen and select 'Check In'.

  • The first time you enter this page, you will be asked to allow the App to access your location. You will have to allow and switch on your location services!
  • When you are within a Check In zone, the pin will appear in green. Click on the pin and there will be an orange ‘Check In’ button for you to tap on.
  • You may notice other location pins nearby are in red. This means you are not within the Check In zone for those pins

Do note that you can only Check In a maximum of 1 time per day, and each successful Check In will earn you 10 Oh! points.

When you first navigate to ‘Scan’ from 'Earn Points' on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen, do allow the App to access the camera.

When you are at our participating fitness and food outlets, go to ‘Scan’ and ensure the QR code on display is in the frame. You will have to switch on your location services.

 

  • You will only be allowed to scan at the premise of the participating outlets. The list of partners can be found here.
  • The QR codes are usually found at the payment counter or given out by the service staff.

Do note that there is a limit to the number of times you can scan the QR code. Here’s the breakdown of the limit and the points you can earn.

View available Rewards by clicking on the ‘Rewards’ on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen.


  • Click ‘Redeem’ to claim a reward with your available points.
  • If you do not have sufficient points, you will be unable to redeem the reward. However you can view more details on the reward by clicking on ‘View’.
  • You can view the items you have redeemed under ‘My Rewards’.

Do note that there is a limit to the amount of rewards you can redeem. Refer to the table below for the breakdown on rewards redemption limits.

To make the most of your Oh! points, you are encouraged to allow your Oh! points to accumulate to redeem higher voucher amounts. 4,500 points will earn you a $20 voucher, but 2,000 Oh! points will only earn you a $5 voucher.

If you have earned 2,000 points and redeemed $5 worth of vouchers between January to June or July to December, you will only be able to get another $15 worth of vouchers by the end of June and December respectively. You could do this by earning:

  • 2,000 points to redeem a $5 voucher, and
  • 3,000 points to redeem a $10 voucher

Altogether, you would need to earn 7,000 points to redeem the maximum $20 worth of vouchers. If you have accumulated your points for a longer period of time, you would only need 4,500 points to redeem the maximum $20 worth of vouchers by 30 June.

For those rewards you have already redeemed, do take note of the expiry date of the e-voucher. After the expiry date, the e-voucher will be removed from ‘My Rewards’.

Account settings

To change password, go to Settings > Profile > Change Password.

To change your profile picture, go to Settings > Profile. Tap on the round profile picture.

  • Allow the App to either take a photo or access photos, media and files on your device.
  • Select a photo you like and move the square to the area you want to appear in your profile picture.
  • Tap on ok, and you can see your profile picture changed!
  • Your profile picture will remain even after you have signed out.

To customise Dashboard, go to Settings > Profile > Customise Dashboard and follow next steps.

  • Click on the camera icon under each image and allow the App to either take a photo or access photos, media and files on your device.
  • Select a photo you like and move the square to the area you want to appear on the Home page.
  • Tap on ok, go back and you can see your favourite picture on your Home page!
  • Do note that your dashboard pictures will change to the default picture once you signed out.
  • Enter the email address and password you’ve signed up with.
  • Passwords can be so hard to remember sometimes. Click on ‘Forgot Password’ to reset the password on your account.
  • You will be asked to key in the email address you signed up with. A new OTP will be sent to the mobile number you registered with the account.
