• “Promotion” means the SNACK x MASTERCARD LIFESTYLE CHALLENGE (AUGUST 2024)
  • “Income” means Income Insurance Limited.
  • “SNACK App” means the SNACK BY INCOME mobile application.
  • “SNACK Insurance” means SNACK Accident, SNACK Life and or SNACK Critical Illness policy in the SNACK App.
  • “Activities Source” means your debit / credit cards linked to your SNACK activity source.
  • “Mastercard Lifestyle Transaction” means transactions that are transacted in the eligible Merchant Category Codes (MCC) by the Mastercard(s) linked to your Activity Source (in Singapore currency only). 
  • “SNACK Investment” means the micro investment linked policy in the SNACK App.
  • “Investment” or “Invest” means a purchase of units from selected sub-fund using premiums or investment credit.
  • “Distribution” means the bonus that will be given by the fund manager due to good performance of the sub-fund.
  • “Bonus Investment credit” means the value in the form of credits accumulated under this Promotion that will be invested once it has been redeemed. The value of the Bonus Investment credit will not fluctuate, and it will not be eligible for any Distribution from the sub-fund, Asian Income Fund.
  • “Prize” means Bonus Investment credit won by the participants when they participate in the Promotion.

 

PROMOTION OFFER:

  1. Income is offering Bonus Investment credits as Prizes to the top 10 SNACK customers who have accumulated the most number of eligible Mastercard Lifestyle Transactions with their Mastercard(s) that are linked to their Activities Source during the promotion period, subject to this Terms of Offer.

 

PROMOTION PERIOD:

  1. The promotion is valid from 15 August 2024 until 6 September 2024 (inclusive of both dates) (the “Promotion Period”).

 

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. You will be eligible for to participate in this promotion if:

i) You are a Singaporean Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;
ii) you are between 18 – 61 years old (inclusive of both years);
iii) you are a registered SNACK user;
iv) you have an existing SNACK Insurance and SNACK Investment Policy; and
v) you have successfully linked at least 1 Mastercard as your Activities Source to SNACK Insurance or SNACK Investment via the SNACK App and ensured you have boosted Insurance or Investment successfully; and
vi) you have successfully started the Mastercard Lifestyle Challenge.

 

PRIZE AND CHALLENGE MECHANICS

  1. A total of 10 prizes will be awarded to the top 10 users who have accumulated the most number of eligible Mastercard Lifestyle Transaction .

In the event of a tied position, the prizes allocated to the tied position will be added together and split among the tied winners. For avoidance of doubt, an example would be, if two person are tied to win the 1st prize, then the 1st and 2nd prize money will be added together and split equally among the first two winners, and the subsequent position will take the 3rd prize. 

 

  1. A Mastercard Lifestyle Transaction will be eligible as a count in this promotion if:
    i) the transaction is transacted from one of the linked Mastercard(s) to your Activities Source; and
    ii) the transaction is from one of these Merchant Category Codes (MCC):

A MCC is a four-digit number assigned to a merchant by the merchant’s acquiring bank based on the merchant’s activity.  Note that SNACK does not determine the merchant’s MCC.

iii) the data captured by the Mastercard Lifestyle Challenge tracker and reflected in SNACK app will be deemed final and will be populated into the list to determine the top 10 winners for the most number of eligible Mastercard Lifestyle Transaction.

  1. You can link up to 3 Mastercard to your SNACK account’s Activities Source. The Mastercard Lifestyle Transaction transacted under these cards will count toward the total count for the promotion as long as it falls under the eligible MCCs.
  2. The cut off time for final total count of the Mastercard Lifestyle Transaction for this promotion mechanics will on 6 September 2024, 23:59:59. Any transactions that are registered after the cut off time will not be added to the total final count.
  3. The Prize is non-transferable or non-exchangeable for cash, credit or benefits in kind, in full or part.
  4. Income reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of a similar value, whether of similar nature or otherwise (“Replacement Prize”) without prior notice.
  5. By participating in this campaign, you consent to Income announcing your full legal name as stated in your NRIC and/or last 4 digits of NRIC, in the event that you are a Prize winner, in our winner’s announcement. You also consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data as stated in paragraph 20 below.
  6. Prize winners will be announced in the SNACK App and SNACK Instagram page by 1 October 2024 after the confirmation of the top 10 winners. An email notification and/or in-app push notification will be sent to the respective winners.
  7. The prize will be issued to the winners' SNACK Investment by 31 October 2024. The winners must ensure that they have an active SNACK Investment to receive the prize, in the form of Bonus Investment Credits.
  8. Income reserves the right to disqualify or disregard any entry which is determined to be improper or non-compliant with the eligibility conditions at its sole discretion, without disclosing or providing any reason whatsoever.
  9. Where a winner fails to comply with any other instruction or condition specified by Income Insurance, or it is subsequently discovered that the winner was not eligible for the Promotion, the Voucher, Prize or Replacement Item or Replacement Prize may be forfeited at Income’s sole discretion.
  10. This Promotion does not affect or change any term of the policy contract issued if any. If there is any inconsistency between this Promotion and any term of the policy contract, the term of the policy contract shall prevail.
  11. Prize or Replacement Prize given out under this Promotion or any component thereof may be subject to separate terms and conditions imposed by the merchant or manufacturer of such Replacement Prize or any component thereof. Income is not the merchant or manufacturer of the Replacement Prize and provides no warranty in respect of the same. Income makes no warranties and shall not be responsible for all warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose, and against infringement of intellectual property rights in respect of the Replacement Prize.
  12. Under no circumstances shall Income be liable to any customer or party, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any liabilities, losses, damages, claims, costs and expenses (including any special or consequential damages or losses) in connection with, related to or resulting from the Promotion, or Replacement Prize, including the use or forfeiture of Replacement Prize.
  13. Income shall not be held responsible for any problems with the network, computer hardware or software or any breakdown or failure that results in the entry, communication or information in connection with the Promotion becoming incomplete, damaged or lost.

 

  1. Personal Data– By participating in this Promotion, you consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your Personal Data by us, and/or by our appointed service providers or partners regarding the redemption of the Replacement Prize and sharing your information to the appointed service providers or partners as Income may in our reasonable discretion determine is necessary to facilitate the redemption of the Replacement Prize. Any collection, use and disclosure of customers’ personal data will be strictly in accordance with Income’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which may be obtained from https://www.income.com.sg/privacy-policy.

 

  1. No joint venture, sponsorship, tie up, agency or any other relationship is intended or created between Income Insurance and the manufacturer or merchant in respect of the Replacement Prize. Neither is the Promotion intended or deemed to be a connection with or use of the brand name of merchant or manufacturer of the Replacement Prize, including with the products and services offered by the other merchants.

  2. As organiser of this Promotion, Income‘s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion (including the issuance of the Prize or Replacement Prize is final, conclusive and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.

 

  1. Income reserves the right vary these terms and conditions, or withdraw or discontinue the Promotion at any time without any notice or liability to any party.

 

  1. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Promotion and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
