Did you know?
Medical cost in Singapore is expected to increase significantly at 16.9% in 2026, above 2025’s rate of 15.5%[2].
With medical bills rising every year, are you prepared for the unexpected?
Infectious diseases are prevalent, especially common ones.
Dengue Fever: More than 13,600 dengue cases were reported in Singapore in 2024, a 36% increase from 2023[3]. From April to June 2025, 1,361 cases have been reported so far, an 11.4% increase compared to the previous quarter[4].
HFMD: An average of 30 cases reported weekly (based on polyclinic attendances) from 1 January to 27 September 2025[5].
Shingles: Singapore is estimated to have about 30,000 new Shingles cases a year[6]. Anyone who has had Chickenpox can develop Shingles, more common in adults over 50 years of age[7].
Is your insurance coverage sufficient to cover your medical bills?
Survey shows that 40% of Singaporeans are concerned about infectious diseases, yet 7 in 10 do not know that there are Personal Accident plans that cover them[8].
Illnesses like Dengue fever, HFMD, Shingles can disrupt daily life and lead to unexpected medical cost. Finding the right Personal Accident plan helps to ease that financial burden, offering peace of mind for you and your family.
