1. What is covered under Third party legal liability?
If you are legally responsible to a third party2 for the following which is accidentally caused by your pet in Singapore:
1 Bodily injury to any person;
2 Loss or damage to property.
We will pay up to $50,000 (first $100 to be borne by you for each incident) for:
a The legal costs and expenses for representing you; and
b The amount awarded against you by the court in Singapore.
Exclusions apply.^
2. What are some scenarios that are not covered under Third party legal liability?
Below are some scenarios which will not be covered under Third party legal liability for your policy:
1 Claims related to bodily injury to any person who is not a third party2.
2 Claims for damage to property belonging to or in the charge of or under the control of anyone who is not a third party2.
Some examples of the above are:
1 Your pet accidentally knocks down a glass door at the pet training school (policyholder's premises).
2 Your pet accidentally bites your helper or your relative who comes to visit you.
3 Your pet accidentally bites your friend's pet when your friend comes for a visit.
4 Your pet accidentally destroys your garden in your home property.

3. Can I choose the effective date and coverage period of the policy?
No, you are not allowed to choose the effective date and coverage period. The effective date of the policy is determined by the date of the application received.
- For application received from 1st - 15th of the month, coverage will start on 1st of the following month; and
- For application received from 16th to end of the month, coverage will start on 15th of the following month.
The coverage period of this policy is 3 months from the effective date.
4. How do I know if I am covered?
Upon submission of the application, an acknowledgement of receipt of the application will be sent via email to you.
Upon acceptance of the application, a confirmation email will be sent to you confirming your coverage before the start of the coverage date.
5. How do I make a claim?
You may reach out to the Income advisor who has helped with your application, indicated in the confirmation email, to make a claim. The contact details of the advisor can be found in the confirmation email sent to you.
