Terms & Conditions

1. The National Day Ice‑Cream Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is organised by Income Insurance Limited (“Income Insurance”) and takes place on 9 and 10 August 2025, 11am – 5pm, or while stocks last, at the designated cart locations in Singapore. By participating in the Giveaway, all Participants acknowledge and agree that they have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Participation is open to all members of the public. Each individual is entitled to one (1) ice‑cream with wafer only. Participants are strictly prohibited from engaging in bulk collection, making reservations for ice-cream, or transferring ice-cream to others for the purpose of repeated collection.
3. Income Insurance reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to withhold the provision of complimentary items, including but not limited to ice cream, from any participant. Income Insurance shall bear no liability for any expectation, claim, or loss arising from the non-provision thereof.
4. Ice‑cream is distributed on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Income Insurance reserves the right to end distribution early if supplies are depleted.
5. The ice-cream made available at this event is provided exclusively by independent third-party vendors engaged by the event agency appointed by Income Insurance. Income Insurance is not the manufacturer, supplier, distributor, or handler of the ice-cream and does not exercise any control over its sourcing, preparation, or distribution. Accordingly, Income Insurance makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, safety, suitability, or fitness for consumption of the ice-cream. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Income Insurance shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, damage, or expense arising directly or indirectly from the consumption or handling of the ice-cream, including but not limited to any allergic reactions, foodborne illnesses, or other adverse effects. Consumption of the ice-cream is entirely voluntary and at the sole risk of the individual.
6. Participants are required to queue and conduct themselves in an orderly and respectful manner at all times. Income Insurance reserves the right to deny service or disqualify any individual who engages in disruptive behaviour or poses a risk to the safety of others.
7. By participating in the Giveaway, the Participant agrees and consents to Income Insurance, its representatives, relevant third parties (referred to in Income's Privacy Policy at https://www.income.com.sg/privacy-policy) to collect, use and disclose personal data, which includes filming and taking photographs, audio, and video recordings of the Participant for the purpose of publishing or posting the Data at any social media, messaging, digital platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram and emails), Income Insurance's website, external websites and Income Insurance's corporate materials. The Participant is aware that he/ she may withdraw his/ her consent to his/ her photographs or video recordings published by Income Insurance by emailing to MarketingCampaign@income.com.sg. To avoid doubt, Income Insurance owns all rights to the photography and videography. The Participant agrees that the withdrawal will take effect only in respect of future use of the Data by Income Insurance which takes place after Income Insurance receives the withdrawal notice and subject to any legal or contractual restrictions preventing the Participant from doing so. The Participant may refer to Income's Privacy Policy (https://www.income.com.sg/privacy-policy) for more information, including access and correction to personal data.
8. Income Insurance disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or expense (direct, indirect, special, or consequential) arising from or in connection with the Giveaway, including queuing delays, crowding, slips, or falls.
9. Income Insurance reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway (in whole or in part) at any time, without notice or liability, for reasons including bad weather, public safety, or government directives. All decisions made by Income Insurance in its sole discretion under these rules shall be final and no discussions or correspondence will be entertained.
10. Income Insurance reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to modify, replace, or withdraw any ice-cream flavour, vendor, or related offering at any time, without prior notice.
11. Participants agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Income Insurance, including its officers, employees, agents, representatives, and contractors, from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal and professional fees) arising out of or in connection with their participation in the event, breach of these Terms and Conditions.
12. No joint venture, sponsorship, tie up, agency, or any other relationship is intended or created between Income Insurance and the manufacturer or any vendor or third party. Neither are these Terms and Conditions intended or deemed to be a connection with or use of the brand name, or any other party or its products.
13. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed to exclude or limit Income Insurance’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from its gross negligence or willful default, to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
14. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
