Application and Procedures
Q:What is the age limit if I wish to apply for this policy?A:
The age limit is 65 years old based on age at the start of the policy. You can be insured as a child under this policy if you are:
- under 18 years of age; or
- under 25 years of age, unmarried and not on full-time employment; and are primarily dependent on the policyholder for maintenance and support. For example, full-time students or national servicemen.
Q:If I am a foreigner or Singaporean Permanent Resident (PR), can I purchase this policy?A:
Yes, you can purchase this policy as long as you are a Singapore PR or hold a valid employment pass, dependent’s pass, work permit or student pass.
Q:What payment frequencies can I choose from?A:
We offer both annual and monthly payment frequencies.
Q:Can I take up this policy for a longer coverage term?A:
No, we issue this policy for a coverage term of 1 year only.
Q:If I change my mind after taking up this insurance, can I cancel it?A:
Upon cancellation of this policy, we will proceed with your refund based on the calculation as follows:
Period of insurance (in days) still left to run divided by the original period of insurance of the policy x 85% of total premium paid
We will not refund any premium below $37.80 @ 8% GST in 2023, $38.15 @ 9% GST from 2024 if you cancel the policy.
There will be no refund payable to you if you have made any claim since the start date of the plan till the date of your cancellation request.
Q:Does this policy cover me while I am overseas?A:
Yes, you will be covered while you are overseas for a period of 180 days from the day of departure from Singapore only. You will not be covered from the 181th day onwards till your return to Singapore.
Q:Does this policy provide coverage if I am taking part in an activity as a professional sportsperson or in national competition?A:
Yes, you will be covered when performing an activity as a professional sportsperson or in national competition.
Q:Does this policy cover me while I am at work?A:
No, this policy is designed to cover you while you are performing a sport, exercise or adventurous activity as a participant.

Q:Does this policy cover treatment at a Chinese medicine practitioner or chiropractor incurred due to injury?A:
Yes, we will pay for the medical expenses incurred at a Chinese medicine practitioner or chiropractor due to injury as long as they are registered and have a valid practicing certificate. We will pay up to the sub-limit for your plan or up to a period of 12 months from the date of accident, whichever comes first.

Q:Can I claim for a $20 exercise class ticket if I am hospitalised and unable to attend the exercise class?A:
No, claims for covered for unused non-refundable activity fee must be at least $50.

Q:What is the eligibility for the sports equipment to be covered under this policy?A:
The age of the sports equipment must be less than 4 years old from the date of the date of purchase at the point of application for this policy; and the sports equipment is purchased from an authorized retailer or distributor and not a marketplace platform or portal.
Q:Are there any supporting documents required to be submitted for the sports equipment to be covered under this policy?A:
An invoice for the sports equipment to be covered must be submitted at the point of application. The sports equipment has to be purchased from an authorized retailer or distributor and not a marketplace platform or portal.
