There has been a tightening of circuit breaker measures, particularly for staff who are still working on-site or need to return to the office for essential / urgent matters during this period. We ask that you take note of the following measures urgently:
- Approval from MTI for staff to be at Income premises
Details of staff who continue to work on-site on a regular basis during the circuit breaker period have been submitted to the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and approval has been obtained for them to continue carrying out critical business functions on-site. No other staff is allowed to return to the office without prior approval from MTI for the time being.
Staff who need to return to the office on an ad hoc basis for urgent matters must seek approval from your Manager. The Manager must then submit the following details to Alyn Leong (Alyn.Leong@income.com.sg) and Ng Su Leng (suleng.ng@income.com.sg) from the Incident Response Team (IRT) at least three (3) working days prior for MTI to grant approval:
- Staff full name and employee no.;
- Date and time / duration of visit to the specified Income office; and
- Purpose of the visit to the office.
Staff must not return to the office without MTI’s approval. Please take note that the Government takes a serious view of any infringement of this requirement and will not hesitate to take action against non-compliant businesses.
- Download and install the ‘Trace Together’ App
MTI has also mandated that staff who are working on-site or returning to the office for urgent matters must install ‘Trace Together’ on your phones and keep the app active all the time, i.e. even when you are at home or out of the office. This applies to approved vendors who are working at Income offices during this time as well.
We strongly encourage all other staff who are working from home to also install the app as it is an important tool for contact tracing when the need arises.
- Logging of entry / exit at Income premises
Staff must log their entries and exits at their respective Income offices by tapping their physical staff pass or HID Mobile Access app on their phones at the access card readers every time you enter and leave. These access card readers can be found at the entrance of Income buildings or offices.
Managers who are hosting approved vendors on-site should keep a record of their entry and exit times as well.
- Compulsory to wear face mask onsite and observe safe distancing rules
All Income staff and approved vendors working on-site must wear a face mask at the workplace and observe all safe distancing measures previously implemented. Visitors are strictly not allowed at Income premises during this circuit breaker period.
We seek your cooperation to comply with the above measures as workplace inspections will be stepped up and companies found to be non-compliant with government requirements will be penalised.
Thank you, and stay safe.
