We would like to update you that our staff who was a suspect case of COVID-19 yesterday has been tested negative for the virus. We are glad that the staff is well and has been discharged.
Disinfection and deep-cleaning of all levels at Income Centre, including the service branch and Wells Café on Level 1, was carried out from 7.00pm yesterday to 2.00am this morning.
The whole of Income Centre will remain closed to staff, customers and visitors for the rest of today, Saturday (29 February) and Sunday (1 March).
Under Split-Team Operations, those who are on rotation to work from Income Centre will report to work at Income Centre on Monday (2 March), and the branch will also resume regular operations at 10.00am on Monday (2 March).
We would like to take this opportunity to stress the importance of Split-Team Operations and the significance of being compliant with the arrangement. The risk of potential infection and community spread is real and thus, we must ensure that we only alternate between working from home and our respective office site. Staff must not work from alternative office site under Split-Team Operations and to minimise, if not avoid, inter-office movements during this period of uncertainty. Leverage conference or video calls with colleagues and stakeholders to conduct meetings.
As an employer and a socially responsible organisation, Income will continue to take all necessary precaution to safeguard the well-being of our staff, customers and the general public, and to help limit the risk of COVID-19 spread in our community.
We urge all of you to remain socially responsible, maintain good personal hygiene and continue to look out for one another.
Thank you.
