In response to the evolving 2019-nCov situation, Income staff will commence split-team operations at 0000hrs on Thursday, 13 February 2020 as part of the company’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for ‘Influenza Pandemic Response’. This means that staff will be split into teams, with some working from their respective offices and others working from home during this time.
Accordingly, the Agency should note and comply with the following actions.
1. Agency Operations
a) Agency Leaders are required to reiterate that reps should work from home as much as possible, and to communicate clearly the required way of working during this time. Business and operational disruption should be kept minimal.
b) Under split-team operations arrangements, reps are strongly encouraged to avoid movements between Income offices.
c) Our branches and client advisory centres, lite branches and Motor Service Centre remain open to service customers and reps during this period of split operations.
2. Be Socially Responsible - Uphold Precautionary Measures
a) Reps who are unwell should not come to the office and should seek medical attention immediately.
b) All reps must take their temperature and submit readings twice daily via this online form (temperature).
c) Reps who have returned to Singapore from China, Hong Kong and Macau for less than 14 days, as well as, those who have had close contact with relatives and friends who arrived from these countries for less than 14 days, will be placed under a 14-day monitoring period. They must complete this online form (14 day monitoring). During this monitoring period, impacted staff are required to work from home.
d) Reps must declare their all upcoming travel plans using this online form (travel) and should reconsider all non-essential business and personal travel.
e) Reps are also strongly discouraged from attending large-scale events, conferences or seminars.
f) Reps who have contact with a suspect case or anyone tested positive for the 2019-nCOv must alert your Agency Leader. The Agency Leader must then inform the DOA immediately.
g) Reps are encouraged to use the hand sanitisers that have been placed at lift lobbies at all Income offices and branches, as well as, to keep up good personal hygiene at their personal work stations.
- Adhere to Isolation and Evacuation Protocol for Suspect Case of 2019-nCoV
Reps must alert the following designated Flu Managers to escort a suspect case to the stipulated isolation area and not take matters into their own hands.
- Income Centre – Charlotte Kong (Hp: 9128-2882)
- Tampines Point – Daniel Tan (Hp: 9773-4005)
- Paya Lebar Square – Syafrizal (Hp: 9633-7249)
- Ramped up Cleaning Efforts at Income premises
Since 5 Feb, Income has stepped-up cleaning and disinfecting of high-traffic common areas at Income offices and branches such as lifts, service counters, toilets, etc. Currently, cleaning of these areas are being carried out every 2-3 hours. We are monitoring the situation very closely, and will intensify our cleaning protocols for income premises as necessary.
- Continue to Stay Vigilant and be Updated on the Evolving Situation
Stay update via MOH’s website (http://www.moh.gov.sg/) and Gov.sg (go.gov.sg/2019ncov). Let us all do our part to minimise the risk of transmission and community spread of the 2019-nCoV.
The Agency Management Team remains contactable by mobile and emails.
