FutureX Vacase Programme
The FutureX Vacase Programme (“Programme”) is organised by NTUC INCOME INSURANCE COOPERATIVE LTD (the “Organizer”). By registering for the Programme, all registrants must have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to comply with the terms and conditions stated below.
To participate in the Programme, registrants will be required to register, as a team of 3 to 4, between 1 February 2020 and 30 June 2020 (inclusive of both dates and within the stated recruitment cycle) by completing details including (but not limited to) his/her full name, mobile number, email address, current university of study, year of study and school faculty on the registration form.
Each registrant must be a current student from any of the tertiary education institutions in the list below, and each registrant/team may only register once for each recruitment cycle of the Programme.
List of tertiary education institutions:By submitting the above details to the Organizer, the registrants agree that the Organizer may collect, use and disclose the personal data, as provided in the above registration form to facilitate the administration of and attendance for the Programme.
The registrants agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about the registrants in the registration form for the Programme. The Organizer may contact the registrants by email or phone (where necessary) to facilitate the administration of and attendance for the Programme. Any notice sent to the email address registered by the registrant with the Organizer shall be deemed received by the registrant. In the event there are any changes to the information provided by the registrant in the registration form, the registrant shall immediately furnish the Organizer with the correct or updated information.
Registrants will be required to complete a problem statement as a team and submit the team’s response to the Organizer within the deadline specified through email. The team will be eligible to participate in the FutureX Workshop that will be held in July 2020 only if the team’s response to the problem statement is accepted and selected by the Organizer. The response provided by the team will be judged based on the creativity, originality and feasibility of the recommendations.
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Programme at any time without the prior notice to the registrant. However, the Organizer will make effort to inform the registrant of the cancellation of the Programme prior to the event date.
The Organizer may amend, vary or modify these terms and conditions from time to time as they deem fit and any amendment to such terms and conditions shall be updated via email registered by the registrant with the Organizer and such amended, varied or modified terms and conditions shall be binding on the registrant. Whilst reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizer to ensure the registrant’s safety, registrant takes part in the Programme at their own risk. The Organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury, death or loss of property arising from the participation in the Programme, to the extent permitted by law.
By participating in the Programme, the registrant agrees to have his/her name, voice and likeness (including photographs) used at Organizer’s discretion as part of marketing and publicity for the Organizer or its future innovation or graduate recruitment events.
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any registrants if they fail to comply with the terms and conditions stipulated here or any other terms and conditions imposed by the Organizers from time to time.
The Organizer has absolute discretion in the selection of the teams and reserves its right to limit and/refuse entries of the teams for the Programme without assigning any reason.
The Programme will be judged entirely at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organizer or its authorized representatives. Any decisions made by the Organizer shall be final and binding and no appeal or correspondences shall be entertained.
Income recognizes each of its responsibilities in relation to the collection, usage, disclosure, storage and transfer of personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). Personal data will be collected only for lawful and relevant purposes and reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that personal data held by us is accurate.
