Future Development Programme

OrangeAid’s Future Development Programme (FDP) supports tertiary students from the lowest income households in Singapore. By investing in these youths, we do our best to help level the playing field and guide them and their families out of the poverty cycle.

Beyond providing financial assistance for their school fees and living expenses, OrangeAid also equips our students with character development and financial literacy skills, and provides them with career guidance and mentoring opportunities.

Income works closely with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and all five polytechnics in Singapore to select and nominate students for the programme. Between 2015 and 2020, 2,200 bursary awards have been disbursed to deserving beneficiairies.

In addition to receiving financial assistance, FDP awardees will also benefit from basic financial literacy training and character development coaching for success.

Students who are keen to apply for the Future Development Programme should contact their educational institution’s financial assistance department to receive the relevant assistance.

The Alumni Initiative

Programmes under the Alumni Initiative provide our beneficiaries continued support as they progress to their first jobs after tertiary education and works to address their uncertainties on securing a career of their interest. With this, we aim to help our FDP youths develop the qualities of being future-ready and others-centred.

Alumni are offered the opportunity to be involved in:
