Our Living policy covers major dread diseases like cancer, coronary artery disease, stroke and kidney failure.

Mdm Yu (not her real name) lives in the United States had gone for a routine pap smear test in September 2000, only to discover that she had contracted womb cancer. She was only in her late thirties. She had to undergo a surgery for the tumor and she needed the money to cover the expensive medical bills.

When we were informed of her plight, our claims officer immediately contacted her regarding the Living Assurance claim. Our hassle-free claims procedure enabled her to print out a Living Assurance claim form our Income website, fill it up and sent to us together with a copy of the medical report.

She was glad that she did not have to spend more time and money to return to Singapore to settle the claim. She was even happier to receive the payout of about $80,000 within a short period of time as her hospital bills were escalating.
