Document Date: 10-December-1998

With effect from October 1998, courtesy cars are provided to policyholders up to 14 days when they meet with an accident and send their cars to our quality workshops for repairs and the repairs take more than three days. Motorists will receive a reimbursement of $30 daily transport allowance if the courtesy car is not available.

Mr Daniel Wong, a manager with a transport and moving company, was among the first to make use of this benefit.

After a lorry ran into his Subaru Justy in Tampines on Saturday, he had thought of renting a car while his was in the workshop.

But when he was at one our quality workshops, he was given a new Toyota Soluna to use while his car was being fixed.

He said: "It saved me a lot of problems looking for rental companies and comparing prices. Now I even have a new car to show off to my friends."
