Good Claim Service Provided By A Representative

A staff from Life Claims department submitted the following report.

"I wish to express my appreciation to this representative (name provided) who assist us to get three medical reports herself to support her client's claim.

Her client bought a EIS policy for $100,000 three mths ago. When policyholder was in a coma and warded in SGH, the representative called us to check on the procedure to submit a PTD claim.

Unfortunately, the policyholder passed away two weeks later, due to brainstem haemorrhage. The following day, the representative informed the office about the sad news and followed up with the claim forms on the same evening.

We explained to the representative that that we needed to find out the medical history on the policyholder, due to the early claim. The representative helped us to get the medical reports from the family doctor and the company doctor. This was obtained efficiently within a week.

The medical reports stated that there was no major ailments nor any pre-existing condition. The claim was settled promptly and payment was made to the nominee within two weeks of the death.

I am impressed with her efficiency the concern for the deceased's family. This has helped us to settle the claim promptly."
