A Career. Made Different.
Income IP is a 10-week structured internship programme designed to give students an opportunity to experience working in a dynamic insurance company.
Intended as a learning journey, the programme will take students through 6 aspects of learning:
1. Immersion in Hiring Department
Learning begins in the hiring department.
As an intern, you will be attached to one hiring department where clear work targets and learning outcomes are to be met. You will also be involved in current on-going department projects and participate actively in department wide activities and initiatives.
As a local company and a composite insurer, NTUC Income offers various business functions1 for you to start your learning journey.
2. Networking Opportunities with Management
Gain exposure and learn from management.
The programme will give aspiring talent an opportunity to network with the management team. Engage with the decision-makers of the organisation and learn from the best!
3. Training in Basic Industry Knowledge
Acquiring knowledge through structured training.
We believe in grooming and developing our future leaders to be passionate about the insurance industry. Conducted by in-house experts, you will have the opportunity to learn about the basics of the industry.
4. Regular feedback with HR & Supervisor
Feedback is a gift! Embrace learning through feedback.
To facilitate accelerated learning, HR will conduct regular feedback sessions with you to voice your opinion on the training programme as well as for HR & supervisors to present tips on any work improvement.
5. Involvement in Business Projects
Developing business acumen as you participate in actual business projects.
As an intern, you will be grouped to work on a project that will give a broad perspective of the organisation’s business as well as to provide an opportunity for you to network and learn from each other.
Each project group will be mentored by alumni from our NTUC Income Graduate Trainee Programme.
6. Human Resources Workshop
Going forward, take what you learn and put it into use!
To add value to you as an intern, HR will be conducting an exclusive workshop catered to teach you the secret skills and tips on how to prepare for future interviews and resume writing. Carried out by HR experts, you will go away with a better understanding of what employers look for in a potential hire.
